O Mistério do Boi Surubim é um musical inspirado no poema O Guardador de Rebanhos, do poeta português Fernando Pessoa. O Boi Surubim, personagem retirado do imaginário popular, é mesclado a elementos religiosos das festas e da literatura folclórica brasileira numa narrativa entremeada de folguedo e ritmos populares como o samba, o pastoril, O Bumba meu Boi, o baião, as brincadeiras e os pregões de rua.

A religiosidade popular que alimenta de magia a história do Boi Surubim transforma os mistérios sagrados do Cristianismo em segredos muito bem guardados por um boizinho, Jesus Cristo e um Menino travesso que rouba milagres de uma caixinha e a luta entre o céu e o inferno, representada pelo Anjo Gabriel e por Belzebu, em um desafio de cantadores – forma tradicional de contenda entre os poetas populares do Nordeste.

O Mistério do Boi Surubim foi concebido para ser apresentado na rua ou em salas de espetáculo. A montagem que utiliza inclusive os recursos do teatro de bonecos incorpora os aspectos místicos e mágicos do tema exercendo igual fascínio em crianças e adultos.

Roteiro

1. A Visão
O cantador vê no fogo Jesus Cristo descer à terra.

2.O Samba
Os atores cantam e dançam O Mistério do Boi Surubim, aventura de Jesus Menino no Brasil, do boizinho, de Belzebu e Gabriel.

3.O Pastoril
O cordão azul, que vem da Serra do Riacho, se encontra com o cordão encarnado, que vem da Serra da Estrela. Os grupos rivais de pastores disputam no Pastorial a beleza de seus trajes, suas músicas e exaltam suas regiões de origem.

4.A Feira
Os pastores oferecem seus produtos na feira.

5.A Chegada do Boi
O Boi Surubim chega à feira e também apresenta os seus produtos: casos, lorotas, mentiras, fofocas e segredos.

6.Boi Surubim Conta o Maior Segredo de Todos
– Jesus Cristo fugiu do Céu!
– Como é que ele fugiu?
– Foi à caixa dos milagres e escondido roubou três milagres de uma vez. Com o primeiro fez com que ninguém soubesse que tinha fugido. Com o segundo, ele se fez “Safado e mentiroso para poder dizer todas as verdades”.
Mas o terceiro milagre o boizinho não pode dizer qual foi.

7.Os Pastores Procuram o Menino Jesus
O Cordão Azul vai procurar no caminho da Serra da Estrela. O Cordão Encarnado, no caminho da Serra do Riacho. Mas os mestres dos cordões, que se apaixonam um pelo outro, vão pelo caminho indicado pelo Boi Surubim: do fogo e do amor.

8.O Boi Surubim Com Medo
O Boi Surubim fica sozinho e com medo. O Anjo Gabriel, que é do céu, e Belzebu, que é do inferno, estão vindo para forçá-lo a dizer onde Jesus Cristo está escondido.

9.Desafio
Belzebu e Gabriel disputam, à maneira dos cantadores, a confissão do Boi Surubim.

10.A Revelação do Segredo
Guiados pelo amor recém-descoberto, o casal de pastores encontra uma grande caixa que se transforma em teatro de bonecos. As marionetes contam a história de como Jesus fugiu do Céu.

The Mistery of the Ox Surubim

O Mistério do Boi Surubim is a musical inspired by Fernando Pessoa’s, a Portuguese Poet, poem The Guardian of the Cattle. The Ox Surubim is a caracter figure which goes back to popular imaginary, mixed up to religions elements of Brazilian folklorístic literature in a narration intermingled by merrymarking and popular rithms like samba, the Pastoril (a certain outdoorfolk play) the Bumba Meu Boi (Popular Dramatic Show), o Baião (Folk-Music) diversion games and the outcries of the street vendors.

The popular religiousness which nourishes the history of the Ox Surubim With Magic, transforms the Scared Misteries of the Christianism into well kept secrets by a litlle Ox. Jesus Christ is a mischievous child that steals miracles from a small box. The battle between Heaven and Hell, represented by the Angel Gabriel and Belzebu – in a challenge of singers – is a tradicional form of dispute among popular poets of the North-East.

O Mistério do Boi Surubim was conceived to be presented on the streets or in theatres. The mounting which even uses the Help of the Puppet Show, incorporates the mystic and magic aspects of the theme producing fascination for both, kids and adults.

Itinerary

1.The Vision
The singer sees in the fire Jesus Christ coming down to Earth.

2.The Samba
The actors sing and dance O Mistério do Boi Surubim an adventure of the child Jesus in Brazil, of the litlle Ox, of Belzebu and Gabriel.

3.The Pastoril
The blue Cordon (a group of carnival revellers) which comes from the Sierra do Riacho, meets the red cordon which comes from the Sierra da Estrela. The rival group of the shepards fight for the beauty of their contumes, their musics praising their regions of origin.

4.The Fair
The shepards offer their products.

5.The Arrivel of the Ox Surubim
The Ox Surubim arrives at the fair and presents his products: things, falsehoods, lies, intrigues and secrets.

6.The Ox Surubim Tells The Biggest Lie of Hall
– Jesus Christ Fled from Heaven.
– How did he flee?
– He went to the miracle box and, hidden, he stole three miracles at once.
With the first one he made if nobody would have know that he had fled.
With the second one, he turns himself into a imoral and a liar to be able to say all the truths.
But the third miracle, the litlle Ox couldn’t tell which it was.

7.The Sheppards are Searching For The Child Jesus
The blue cordon is going to search along the way of the Sierra da Estrela. The red Cordon, along the way of the Sierra do Riacho. But the leaders of the Cordons, falling in love one with each other, take the path indicated by the Ox Surubim: the one off ire and love.

8.The Anxious Ox Surubim
The Surubim stays alone and is frightened. The heavenly Angel Gabriel and the infernal Belzebu are coming to force it to say where Jesus Christ is hidden.

9.The Challenge
Belzebu and Gabriel dispute, like singers do – the confession of the Ox Surubim.

10.The Revelation of the Secret
Guided by the recente discovered love, the sheppard couple finds a big box which turns into a Puppet Show. The puppets tell the history of how Jesus fled from heaven.

Le Mistére du Boef Surubim

O Mistério do Boi Surubim est um piece musical inspire par le poème Le Gardien des Tropeaux, du poete portugais Fernando Pessoa. Le boeuf Surubim , personnage retiré du imaginaire populaire est melangé aux elements religieux de fêtes et de la literature folclorique brésilienne dans une narration entremelée de passe-temps et des rithmes populares comme le Samba, le Pastoril, le Bumba meu Boi, le Baião, les plaisantenés et les cris des petits marchands de la rue.

La religiosité populaire qui nourrit avec magie l’histoire du boeuf Surubim, transforme les ministères sacres du Christianisme en secrets três bien gardés par um petit boeuf. Jesus Christ est um petit garçon malin qui vole des miracles d’une petite caísse et la lute entre le ciel et l’infer, representé par l’ange Gabriel et par Belzebu est un défi des chanteurs – forme traditionelle de dispute entre les poètes populaires du nord-est.

O Mistério do Boi Surubim ètait creé pour être presente dans la rue ou dans les salles d’espectacle. Le montage qui utilise aussi les recours du thèatre des marionetes, incorpore les aspects mystiques et magiques du thème exerçant la méme fascination pour enfants e adultes.

Itineraire

1.La Vision
Le chanteur voit dans le feu Jesus Christ descendre à terre.

2.Le Samba
Les acteurs chantent et dansent Le MIstère du Boeuf Surubim, aventure du Jesus, petit garçon du Brésil, du petit Boeuf, de Belzebu e Gabriel.

3.Le Pastoril
Le cordon bleu que vient de la Serra do Riacho, se trouve avec le Cordon rouge qui vient de la Serra da Estrela. Les groupes rivaux des pasteurs disputent dans les Pastoril la beauté des ses costumes, ses musique em exaltant ses regions d’origine.

4.La Foire
Les pasteurs offrent ses produits dans la foire.

5.L’Arrivé du Boeuf
Le Boeuf Surubim arrive à la foire et lui aussi presente ses produits: cas, petites et grandes mensonges, intrigues, secrets.

6.Le Boeuf Surubim Raconte le plus Grane Secret de Tous
– Jesus Christ a fui du ciel!
– Comme est qu’il a fui?
– Il est allé à la caisse du miracles et, chaché, il a volé trois miracles d’une seule fois. Avec le premier il faisait comme que personne sache qu’il avait fui.
Avec le deuxième, il se faisait éthonté et menteur pou pouvoir dire toutes les verités. Mais, le petit boeuf ne peut pas dire lequel était le troisième miracle.

7.Les Pasteurs Cherchent le Petit Jesus
Le Cordon bleu va chercher dans le chemin de la Serra da Estrela. Le cordon rouge dans le chemin de la Serra do Riacho. Mais les mestres des Cordons qui se passionent l’un pour l’autre , vont pour le chemin indique par le boeuf Surubim: le du feu et d’amour.

8.Le Boeuf Surubim Avec Peur
Le Boeuf Surubim est seul et avec peur. L’ange Gabriel que est du ciel, et belzebu qui est d’infer, sont en train de venir pour le forcer à dire ou Jesus Christ est caché.

9.Le Défi
Belzebu et Gabriel disputent, a façon des chanteurs , la confession du Boeuf Surubim.

10.La Relation du Secret
Guidé pour l’amour recemment secouverte le couple des pasteurs trouvent uma grande caisse qui devient um théatre des marionetes. Eux, ils racontent l’histoire comment Jesus Christ a fui du ciel.
